Introducing Faun Tour for Women

By becoming the title sponsor of the Faun Tour Femmes, a major international stage race which will take place from 10 to 13 September 2026 on the roads of the Drôme and Ardèche, FAUN is opening a new chapter in its commitment to cycling.

“Today, we are opening a new chapter with the creation of the Faun Tour Femmes. I say this with conviction: this is not simply about creating a women’s race.”

All the ingredients are in place to make this inaugural edition a major event: a challenging route designed to attract the best cyclists, extensive media coverage with live broadcasts on La Chaîne L’Équipe and Eurosport, and organisation of the highest standard. The event was presented on 17 June at Faun, in the presence of Michel Callot, President of the French Cycling Federation; Etienne Blaise, President of Faun; Tiphaine Bourgninaud, Head of Sports Partnerships at CIC; Frédéric Sauzet, Director of the CIC branch in Valence Victor-Hugo; Guillaume Bonnafond, Head of NewGen at Decathlon – CMA CGM, and Guillaume Delpech, President of BDAO, who said: “The Ardèche International Women’s Cycling Tour has built something solid over more than twenty years: a history, a reputation and deep roots in this region. We are the heirs to this legacy and we are proud of it. Our ambition now is to take it further.” 

And Etienne Blaise, President of FAUN Environnement, said: “It is about building a major women’s race. Women’s cycling is experiencing exceptional growth. Champions are attracting an ever-wider audience, viewership is growing and performance levels are constantly rising. This momentum deserves events that live up to it. That is why we wanted to get involved right from the start of this project and lend it our name.”
